赵继红在桂林留置中心的人间地狱Zhao Jihong’s Living Hell at the Detention Center
本人是北京市汉鼎联合律师事务所张庆方律师，现担任原桂林市交投集团董事长赵继红涉嫌贪污、受贿、国有企业人员滥用职权一案的二审辩护人。
My name is Zhang Qingfang, a lawyer from Beijing Handing United Law Firm. I am currently serving as the second-instance defense counsel for Zhao Jihong, the former chairman of Guilin City Transportation Investment Group, who is suspected of embezzlement, bribery, and abuse of power by state-owned enterprise personnel.
在多次会见赵继红的过程中，他向我详细讲述了自己从2022年7月19日被桂林市纪委留置后，被办案人员刘凌、廖勇、蒋金林、陆自强等人残酷地逼供诱供指供的全过程。
During multiple meetings with Zhao Jihong, he detailed the entire process of how he was cruelly forced to confess, enticed to confess, and instructed to confess by investigators Liu Ling, Liao Yong, Jiang Jinlin, Lu Ziqiang, and others after being detained by the Guilin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection on July 19, 2022:
自留置的第二天起，办案人员每天早晨七点到晚上十二点，除中午一小时午休时间外，其他的16个小时，都强迫赵继红按他们所谓的标准坐姿，坐在所谓的中纪委标准凳上，屁股不能正坐，必须坐在凳子的边缘，双手必须放在膝盖上，全天16小时保持一个坐姿不变。在这样高强度的讯问下，不到一星期，赵继红的屁股就坐烂了，双腿开始浮肿，刘凌廖勇等人不但不给药，还说腿浮肿，是喝水喝多了，从此在全天的讯问过程中不给赵继红喝水。以后的讯问过程中，赵继红只能蹲着，双手扶着中纪委标准凳，或者身子歪在墙上，一坐，屁股就疼到受不了。
From the second day of his detention, investigators forced Zhao Jihong to sit in a so-called standard posture on a so-called Central Commission for Discipline Inspection standard stool for 16 hours every day, from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m., except for a one-hour lunch break. His buttocks were not allowed to sit squarely on the stool but had to sit on the edge, with both hands placed on his knees, maintaining the same sitting posture for 16 hours a day. Under such high-intensity interrogation, within less than a week, Zhao Jihong's buttocks had become sore, and his legs began to swell. Not only did Liu Ling and Liao Yong not give him medication, but they also said that the leg swelling was due to drinking too much water, so they denied Zhao Jihong water during the entire day's interrogation process. In subsequent interrogations, Zhao Jihong could only squat, holding the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection standard stool with both hands, or leaning his body against the wall. As soon as he sat down, his buttocks would hurt unbearably.
桂林留置中心的伙食极差，早晨两个鸡蛋大小的小馒头，中午一小碗米饭，两片菜叶，晚上一个小馒头。在留置的前33天，赵继红没洗过一次澡。一个军队转业的看护比较正直，多次私下骂几个办案人员"什么熊逼玩意"！这个看护还反复向办案人员恳请：你们让他洗一次澡吧！他全身都烂了，浑身发臭，晚上熏得我们都受不了。刘凌等人才勉强地让赵继红在留置的第33天，第55天各洗了一次澡。
The food at the Guilin Detention Center was extremely poor, with two small steamed buns the size of eggs in the morning, a small bowl of rice and two leaves of vegetables at noon, and one small steamed bun in the evening. During the first 33 days of his detention, Zhao Jihong did not take a single shower. A relatively upright caregiver who had transferred from the military privately cursed the investigators several times, calling them "what kind of bastards"! This caregiver also repeatedly pleaded with the investigators: let him take a shower! His whole body is festering and stinks; it's so bad that we can't stand it at night. Only then did Liu Ling and the others reluctantly allow Zhao Jihong to take a shower on the 33rd and 55th day of his detention.
除了生活上的折磨，赵继红每天面对的，就是廖勇、陆自强、蒋金林等人的辱骂：你的妈的反党，叛党，党还要你干什么，还要你全家干什么！我们就是要让你家破人亡，你老婆要进来，你女儿？还让她在国外读书，培养一个反动的小仔子干什么，我们要对她边控，让她暑假后再也不能出国读书！时不时，几个人渣就骂赵继红的母亲，赵继红气不过，质问他们：你们说我犯罪的证据在哪里？换来的是廖勇等人更强度升级的辱骂：要证据？纪委是政治机关，我们办案不讲证据，要的是你的态度！你的案子是市委主要领导亲自部署的，我们是没掌握证据，但是，我们零口供，也能判你十几年，我们定个数，法院就不敢不判！你就是我们案板上的肉，我们想怎么剁就怎么剁！
Apart from the physical torment, Zhao Jihong faced daily verbal abuse from Liao Yong, Lu Ziqiang, Jiang Jinlin, and others: your mother's anti-Party, betraying the Party, what does the Party still need you for, what does it need your whole family for! We will destroy your family; your wife will be brought in, and your daughter? Still letting her study abroad, cultivating a reactionary little bastard, what for? We will put her on the border control list so that she can never go abroad to study after the summer vacation! From time to time, these scumbags would curse Zhao Jihong's mother. Zhao Jihong couldn't stand it and questioned them: where is the evidence of my alleged crimes? This only led to more intensified verbal abuse from Liao Yong and the others: you want evidence? The Commission for Discipline Inspection is a political organ; we don't talk about evidence when handling cases; what we want is your attitude! Your case is personally deployed by the main leaders of the Municipal Party Committee. We don't have evidence, but we can sentence you to more than ten years with zero confessions. We set a number, and the court dare not refuse to sentence you! You are just a piece of meat on our chopping board; we can chop you however we want!
因为赵继红一直不肯违心地按廖勇蒋金林陆自强的要求自认有罪，三个人渣就开始给他洗脑：到我们这地方来的，哪有一个干净地出去的？你就当成走在路上，被墙里边扔出一块石头砸中了吧！你三个月不认，我们就关你六个月，六个月不认，换个罪名，再关六个月，直到你认为止！你认了，老婆女儿还可以保住，不认，女儿边控，不能回澳大利亚读书，连你姐夫也要抓。
Because Zhao Jihong refused to admit guilt against his will as demanded by Liao Yong, Jiang Jinlin, and Lu Ziqiang, the three scumbags began to brainwash him: no one who comes to our place leaves clean. Just think of it as walking on the road and getting hit by a stone thrown from inside a wall! If you don't confess for three months, we will detain you for six months; if you don't confess for six months, we will change the charges and detain you for another six months until you confess! If you confess, your wife and daughter can be spared; if you don't, your daughter will be put on the border control list and won't be able to return to Australia to study, and even your brother-in-law will be arrested.
赵继红除了担心老婆女儿，更牵挂自己八十多岁，癌症晚期的老父亲，老人卧病在床，家里没一个男人，无法照顾，如果把一直照料父亲的姐夫再抓进来，后果将不堪设想。在如此巨大的压力下，他开始精神失常，血压上升，头疼，走路要扶墙，还晕倒过一次。
In addition to worrying about his wife and daughter, Zhao Jihong was even more concerned about his father, who was in his eighties and had late-stage cancer. The elderly man was bedridden, and there was no man in the family to take care of him. If his brother-in-law, who had been caring for his father, was also arrested, the consequences would be unimaginable. Under such enormous pressure, he began to lose his mind, his blood pressure rose, he had headaches, needed to hold onto the wall when walking, and even fainted once.
就在中秋节当天的2022年9月10号，桂林纪委常委刘凌亲自来找赵继红谈话，刘凌故作严肃地说：你这个案子，不是一般的特殊！我干检察和纪检工作二十多年，还是第一次，纪委书记为了一个案子，非常严肃地找我谈话。徐波书记找我谈话已经一星期了，我今天才来找你，就是怕你误解了组织上的一片用心。
On September 10, 2022, the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Liu Ling, a standing committee member of the Guilin Commission for Discipline Inspection, personally came to talk to Zhao Jihong. Liu Ling pretended to be serious and said: your case is not an ordinary one! I have worked in the procuratorate and discipline inspection for more than 20 years, and this is the first time that the secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection has talked to me very seriously about a case. Secretary Xu Bo talked to me a week ago, and I only came to talk to you today because I was afraid that you would misunderstand the organization's good intentions.
接下来，刘凌又重复了一遍廖勇等人多次讲的纪委是政治机关，不讲法律不讲证据，要的就是态度，就是让主要领导满意。最后说：老赵，你的问题非常严重，但是，市委主要领导已经决定，只要你配合纪委的工作，就给你一条生路！给你"断崖式处理"！董事长你就别想了，但是，还可以保住公职！如果不配合，就是十几年的牢饭！
Next, Liu Ling repeated what Liao Yong and others had said many times: the Commission for Discipline Inspection is a political organ that does not talk about the law or evidence, but only wants attitude and to satisfy the main leaders. Finally, he said: Old Zhao, your problem is very serious, but the main leaders of the Municipal Party Committee have decided that as long as you cooperate with the work of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, they will give you a way out! They will give you a "cliff-edge handling"! Don't even think about being the chairman, but you can still keep your public office! If you don't cooperate, it will be more than ten years in prison!
在这种压力和诱惑下，赵继红只好按刘凌编好的台词，一步步配合着办案人员，完成了对自己贪污1900万，受贿1400万，滥用职权造成国企损失255万元的无中生有的指控。
Under such pressure and temptation, Zhao Jihong had no choice but to follow the script compiled by Liu Ling and cooperate with the investigators step by step, completing the fabricated accusations of embezzling 1.9million yuan, accepting bribes of 14 million yuan, and abusing power, causing state-owned enterprises to lose 2.55 million yuan.
赵继红究竟得罪了谁，竟然蒙受如此不白之冤？本人将在以后的时间一一道来。
